Brian is a Southern California native and longtime LA area resident. For nearly 60 years, Brian has been a driving force in the out-of-home advertising industry and is known for his contribution to the expansion of billboards in the Los Angeles and greater LA area, and particularly the Sunset Strip, which many refer to as the “West Coast Times Square.” Brian has a long history of cooperation and partnership with the City of Los Angeles. At the young age of 26 he was entrusted as Traffic Commissioner and has since been an avid supporter of various City departments including the Los Angeles Police Department SWAT team. Widely recognized as a key figure in the billboard business, Brian founded Regency Outdoor Advertising in 1973 which he built from a single sign, growing the Regency brand at one point to over 500 signs to become a prominent presence in the LA out-of-home advertising market and the second largest privately held billboard company in the country. Brian has pioneered a myriad of innovations in billboard design as well as out-of-home advertising. For over 50 years, Regency Outdoor Advertising has provided some of the best billboard advertising space to its clients and continues to revolutionize the out-of-home advertising industry. Brian is a USC graduate and well-known donor to USC athletics and various campus facilities. Aside from his many contributions to his alma mater, Brian is also a philanthropist involved in numerous charitable causes.
